BRIDGWATER and District U3A
U3A COFFEE MORNINGS These   are   held   on   the   third   Wednesday   of   every   month   at   the   Masonic   Hall,   Northgate,   Bridgwater,   (opposite   the   new McCarthy & Stone apartment block i.e. the site of the old Police Station) from 10 am to noon. All   members   and   those   interested   in   finding   out   more   about   the   U3A   are   welcome.   There   is   usually   a   Bring   and   Buy Stall and the notice boards give up-to-date details of group activities.
Coffee Morning Refreshment Routine for Volunteers on the Rota:- Supplies will be provided.  You do not need to buy milk etc. The   Volunteers   should   organise   themselves   to   serve   tea   &   coffee,   wash   up   and   pack   away.      It   is   helpful   for   one   or   two members to come early to get the water heater and/or kettles boiling and set out cups and saucers. Coffee   morning   supplies   are   stored   in   the   U3A   cupboard.   (Keys   are   held   by   our   Chairman,   Vice   Chairman   and Treasurer.)  Milk will be purchased by Ali C / Paul C. Please aim to supply hot drinks from 10.15 to 11.45 am.  Please clear everything away and fill in a ”stock needed” list (these can be found with tea/ coffee etc. ) Give list and damp tea towels to Ali or Paul C.
COFFEE MORNING ROTAS 2019 It has been decided that we ask for volunteers to serve hot beverages at our monthly coffee mornings. We   anticipate   that   so   many   members   will   rush   forward   we   will   be   able   to   allocate   5/6   per   morning   as   opposed   to expecting the same people to do all the work throughout the year. Time will tell if we have been naive in our expectations. Volunteers   are   requested   to   sign   up   on   the   refreshments   rota   in   advance   by   selecting   a   date   thy   are   available   and providing an email address so that they may be reminded closer to the date.  Ali
