The Book Club meets once a month on the 4th Wednesday of the month. We   take   it   in   turns   to   choose   a   book   and   lead   the   discussion   on   it.   This   is   by   no   means   compulsory,   but   since   the   whole idea   is   to   be   companionable   relaxed   and   ENJOY   our   reading   there   is   no   problem.   Having   said   that   there   are   often   times when we do not like one of the books - but then the discussion is much better! The   choice   of   what   to   read   is   up   to   the   individual   -   it   can   be   a   particular   author,   a   particular   type   of   book,   such   as   a detective   fiction,   or   whatever.   Bridgwater   Library   is   very   helpful   and   will   get   several   copies   of   a   book   if   at   all   possible, but when there is a problem we can get several titles by the same author. If you like reading, this is a good club to join.... Liz
